My grandfather started this company in 1952 with one truck and a handshake. Three generations later, that's still how we do business — except now we've got a bigger truck and a bigger handshake.

I answer the phone myself. I write your quote myself. And the same crew you meet on day one — Aaron, Roy, Frank, Mike, Brian, Keith — is the same crew that loads your truck, drives it across town or across the country, and sets your bed up in your new bedroom.

Tucked off Brienna Court on Staten Island's south shore, our warehouse is more than a depot — it's where Bill plans every job personally and where Aaron and the crew load out at sunrise, six days a week.

Climate-controlled storage, padded crating bays, and the same trucks our customers see in their reviews. No subcontractors. No "logistics partners." Just the Drennan family, doing what we've done since Eisenhower was president.

Joseph F. Drennan opens the doors

One truck. One man. Staten Island, NY. The first move was a three-bedroom on Hylan Boulevard for $42.

1968

Joseph Drennan & Sons

The next generation joins the truck. The 'Sons' goes on the door — and stays there for the next 50+ years.

1981

Wheaton World Wide partnership

Drennan becomes a Wheaton agent. Suddenly, that 'last move across town' could be the first leg of a move across the country.

1997
